Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our Wall Street bakery at 76 Pearl Street, NY 10004. You’ll lead a high-energy team, ensure exceptional guest service, oversee baking and frontline operations, and help drive daily performance during both day and night shifts.

You’ll mentor team members, manage cash handling, and uphold food safety standards while fostering a fun, collaborative environment in a fast-paced bakery. Join us and Own the Night.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a customer service role.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• US work eligibility and 18+.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience within our bakeries.
• Support store leadership by maintaining shift operations, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment for our guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
• Other duties as assigned.
