Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the bakery team and ensure a warm, efficient guest experience. You will bake, package, and prepare orders while mentoring Cookie Crew members and maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality or similar.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to obtain food safety certs.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift and deliver guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates with store leadership to keep bakery operating at its best.
• Jump in wherever needed to help your team.
