Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels in Melrose, MA is seeking a Shift Leader to support the General Manager in motivating a team to deliver a memorable guest experience. You will open and close the store, coach staff, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, can work varied hours including early shifts, and may need ServSafe certification. Compensation ranges from $14.57 to $21.86 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• ServSafe Certification prior to leadership training.
• Valid driver’s license preferred or required at specific locations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store with little supervision.
• Motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set morale and tone.
• Ensure quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
