Job summary

MOKA Coffee in Madison, WI is seeking a Shift Leader who can motivate a team, maintain smooth operations, and uphold our high beverage and service standards.

You’ll coach Baristas, manage inventory, complete shift reports, and keep the shop clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• At least 1 year of barista experience is preferred.
• Able to work 20+ hours per week and stay reliable under pressure.

• Coffee Expert – Proficient in all Barista responsibilities with at least 1 year of industry experience.
• Reliable & Committed – Punctual, coachable, and ready to work at least 20+ hours per week!

What you'll do:

• Lead the Shift: Oversee operations, delegate tasks, and adjust staffing to keep the workflow smooth.
• Coach & Train: Actively mentor Baristas, providing on-the-spot feedback and assisting in the training of new hires for success.
• Ensure Quality: Uphold MOKA standards for beverage quality and customer service on every single order.
• Manage Inventory: Assist with inventory counts and ordering to ensure we never run low on the good stuff.
• Stay Accountable: Complete accurate shift reports and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting shop for everyone.
