BD is a global medical technology company and a leader in the healthcare industry. We are seeking a production supervisor in USA CT - Canaan to oversee line operations, safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years of manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment; BA/BS with 1 year preferred.
• 1 year of people leadership experience preferred.
• Experience on production floor with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Address safety issues promptly and track incidents.
• Staffing and training plans for assigned shift.
• Daily touchpoints with line associates to support Run to Excellence (Safety, Quality, TPM, 5S, etc.).
• Provide timely feedback and maintain open communication between associates and management.
• Lead root cause investigation and containment for line issues.
• Spend 100% of time on the production floor unless in required meetings.
• Manage material control, work orders, and cycle counts.
• Perform daily batch reviews (DHRs).
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance and other functions to build a strong cross-functional team.
• Lead requalification efforts and support quality inspections on assigned lines.
