BD is a global medical technology leader committed to turning possibilities into realities. We seek a production supervisor to oversee line teams, manage staffing and training, ensure safety and quality, and drive Run to Excellence initiatives on the production floor.

You will coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and HR to resolve issues, run daily metrics, and maintain documentation. BD offers a comprehensive rewards package including health, retirement, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• BA/BS in Science, Industrial Management, Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 1 year of people leadership experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in highly automated environments required.

Aufgaben

• Promptly address safety issues or incidents.
• Manage attendance, vacation, PTO, and performance management.
• Staffing and training plans within assigned shift.
• Daily touchpoints with line associates to support Run to Excellence (Safety, Quality, TPM).
• Provide regular feedback to associates; conduct 1:1 meetings.
• Communicate between production associates and management; relay concerns both ways.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues; apply BD values.
• Prepare and lead Tier 1 production meetings; align with LCO team.
• Ensure fair policy application; involve HR when needed.
• Maintain line resources, support root cause investigations and containment.
• Spend 100% on production floor unless meetings or performance discussions are required.
• Communicate results and escape issues to Line Leader.
• Manage material, work orders, reconciliation, and cycle counts.
• Conduct daily DHRs; ensure quality checks and WOs are documented.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance; build cross-functional team.
• Coordinate headcount; support sampling; lead requalification on lines.
