Job summary

Sweetgreen is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations, mentor team members, and uphold our hospitality-first standard. You’ll manage shifts, balance pace, and ensure guest satisfaction while modeling high performance on the floor.

You’ll coach teammates to improve service, food quality, and operational standards, while ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and smooth execution during high-volume periods. Growth paths to General Manager exist.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Shift Leader or Supervisor role in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining standards.
• Strong communication and team coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with a hospitality-first mindset, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and heard.
• Keep service running smoothly by managing pace, priorities, and execution across the floor.
• Jump in on any station as needed, modeling strong performance and teamwork in real time.
• Coach and support team members to elevate service, food quality, and operational standards.
• Uphold food safety, accuracy, cleanliness, and organization throughout every shift.
• Communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and stay calm under pressure during high-volume moments.
