Job summary

SeoulSpice Korean Kitchen in Chicago seeks a Shift Leader to drive restaurant operations during busy service. You will lead the team, keep service rapid and accurate, and ensure every guest enjoys high-quality food in a welcoming setting.

You will coach teammates, coordinate with the Kitchen Leader and Sous Chef to balance demand with fresh prep, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards. This role offers growth toward leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, retail, hospitality or customer service, including guiding or training others.
• Creates positive guest experiences and communicates clearly and respectfully.
• Organize the team, set priorities, stay calm during busy shifts.
• Leads by example, takes initiative, maintains high standards for food, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Lead each shift with positive energy, organize the team, and communicate clear priorities.
• Create a welcoming guest experience while keeping in-person and digital orders fast and accurate.
• Coach Team Members, recognize great work, and provide helpful feedback.
• Keep the restaurant clean, stocked, safe, and ready for service.
• Handle guest concerns, complete daily shift responsibilities, and step into any station when needed.
