Habit Burger & Grill in Dana Point, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH and BOH functions, ensuring a smooth shift and an exceptional guest experience. You will collaborate with the management team to monitor food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role requires 1 year of related food service management experience (or 2 years in food service), a high school degree, and Food Manager Certification/ServSafe.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related food service management position (preferred).
• High school degree or equivalent preferred; certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a polite, friendly manner and handle requests/complaints.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring FOH staff.
• Train and develop FOH staff to ensure customer service standards.
• Ensure all staff comply with safety, sanitation, hygiene, and uniform policies.
• Oversee daily restaurant shift operations and openings/closings with checklists.
• Prepare deposits and reconcile cash drawers and safes from previous shifts.
• Assist in FOH/BOH roles as needed and manage labor costs to optimize profits.
