Habit Burger & Grill in La Mirada, CA seeks a Shift Leader to oversee FOH & BOH, ensure guest satisfaction, manage sales goals, and help control food and labor costs. You’ll train staff, uphold safety standards, and partner with management to run smooth shifts.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in food service, strong English communication, basic math and computer skills, and a customer-service mindset. A team-focused, energetic attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management preferred, or 2 years in other food service.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule.
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Oversee FOH and BOH operations during shifts.
• Recruiting and hiring of FOH staff.
• Train and develop FOH staff to meet customer service standards.
• Monitor labor costs and ensure health and safety standards.
• Prepare deposits and reconcile cash drawers from previous shifts.
