Job summary

Jersey Mike's in Sandy, UT is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations and deliver the "Sub Above" experience. You'll coach crew, model strong work ethic, and ensure food safety while keeping guests and team members engaged.

You'll lead by example, train new hires, manage opening/closing, and collaborate with management to uphold quality, speed, and service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant/food service or customer service experience.
• Leadership experience or readiness for leadership role.
• Leads by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts, setting an example with positive leadership and exceptional customer service.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience and ensure every customer receives a Sub Above experience.
• Prepare fresh subs and ensure food is made to Jersey Mike's standards.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members during each shift.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe restaurant environment.
• Manage shift execution, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and minimizing food waste.
