GDLP Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily restaurant operations and elevate guest experiences. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, coaching team members, and maintaining high service standards.

This leadership role offers growth opportunities within the company. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in food service, a valid Food Handler Certification, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance.
• Available to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns to management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
