Job summary

Taco Cabana is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the management team in achieving restaurant operational goals, annual sales, and the profit plan. This role carries leadership duties and responsibilities similar to a supervisor, excluding hiring and termination decisions.

You will direct and supervise hourly team members on the assigned shift, train staff, uphold safety and sanitation standards, monitor guest service, and participate in store meetings and certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months restaurant experience.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read company instructions, orders on screen/receipts and written materials.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises restaurant hourly team members on assigned shift to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and optimum guest service.
• Assists in planning and supervising completion of all task assignments and ensures adherence with safety, food safety, sanitation and security procedures.
• Utilize training tools to provide hourly team members with training in all aspects of restaurant operation.
• Assist management in maintaining restaurant equipment and facility per company guidelines; inform General Manager about needed repairs.
