Job summary

Whataburger in Whitesboro, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to drive shift performance, coach crew, and uphold safety and quality standards across daily operations. This role focuses on leading teams, improving service delivery, and supporting financial goals while delivering the Whataburger guest experience.

You will work at your home restaurant location, with opportunities to support neighboring locations and participate in leadership sessions that foster growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and dependable attendance.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs., and meet physical demands.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate family members to perform well on shifts.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
