Job summary

Whataburger Restaurants is seeking a Shift Leader to drive operational excellence, coach team members, and maintain quality and safety across shifts. You’ll lead shift management, train staff, and partner with the Restaurant Manager to meet goals during busy periods.

This role is based in your home restaurant with opportunities to work at neighboring locations and participate in leadership sessions that strengthen your skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service and communication.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain during training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members.
• Support goals related to cost, sales, and inventory.
