Caribou Coffee in New Hope, Minnesota, is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations and uphold brand standards while connecting with guests. The role focuses on leading a team, maintaining an energetic, guest‑centered environment, and ensuring smooth shift transitions.

You will train teammates, manage shift priorities, handle cash and safety, and collaborate with leadership to deliver a welcoming, high‑energy experience for customers and the community.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role, or properly trained and approved to take on Shift Leader responsibilities
• Shift Leaders are expected to maintain flexible availability to cover different days, times, or shifts as needed
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence and excellence
• Leads shifts with high energy and engagement
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a welcoming coffeehouse environment
• Knows the day’s deployment and roles, and communicates on the floor to keep the shift moving
• Delegates objectives and tasks based on the shift’s priorities
• Owns the shift and ensures a smooth hand-off to the next team
• Upholds SOPs and Caribou standards for quality, cash handling, and safety
• Coaches and trains the team in role responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions
• Performs administrative tasks timely, including deposits, inventory, and orders
• Develops Team Members with coaching and feedback in the moment
• Brings Core Values to life: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve With Love
• Makes 1) Manager on Duty decisions, 2) stays calm under pressure
