Job summary

Far West Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, coaching team members, and upholding standards across food safety, cleanliness, and service.

Qualifications

• Leadership and guest-service focused mindset.
• Experience in restaurant or retail leadership preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicate restaurant needs and maintenance concerns to management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
