Job summary

Whataburger is seeking a Shift Leader in Texas to drive daily operations and lead a team with energy and a customer‑first mindset. You will coach Team Members, ensure quality and safety standards, and help manage cost and productivity during busy shifts.

Based in Marshall, TX, you will partner with the Restaurant Manager to execute a consistent, high‑quality guest experience and foster a collaborative work environment that supports growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to meet business needs and have open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coach and motivate Team Members to develop skills and performance.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor, and inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
