Job summary

NAYA - Park Slope is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to guide our team in delivering excellent guest experiences and operational excellence at our Park Slope location. You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality and consistency, and foster a positive, guest-first environment.

Lead by example, coach team members, and manage schedules, inventory, and safety while promoting our catering services and in-store experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a similar concept.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Customer-focused, guest-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and control labor while ensuring profitability.
• Oversee food preparation per recipes and quality standards.
• Manage daily shift schedules and clock-in/out.
• Handle inventory, purchasing, and stock levels.
• Complete cash handling, deposits, and promotions.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members.
• Engage with guests and address complaints with solutions.
• Promote catering services and manage orders.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
• Open/close store following procedures.
