Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Livonia, MI is seeking a Shift Leader for a full-time, fast-paced role. You’ll lead the shift, support a team, and help ensure outstanding guest service while keeping operations smooth.

Starting pay is $17–$19 per hour plus biweekly tips. No car wash experience is required—we provide paid training and opportunities for promotion from within.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent, ready to work evenings and weekends in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old.
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Available evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight.
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality.
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment.
