Job summary

WhiteWater Express Car Wash in Lake Orion, Michigan is seeking a Shift Leader (Full-time) to drive daily operations and lead a fast-paced team. Starting pay is $17–$19 per hour plus biweekly tips, with paid training and opportunities for advancement.

You’ll supervise the team, ensure quality service, handle guest concerns, and help with opening/closing and safety adherence. This role is active, outdoor-friendly, and ideal for someone with leadership or customer-service experience seeking growth

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Previous leadership, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
• Available evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Dependable, motivated, and customer-focused
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Support daily shift operations and assist with team oversight
• Ensure team members understand and complete their responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Help customers choose wash packages and memberships
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Assist with incident reports and operational documentation
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed
• Support store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and wash quality
• Encourage a positive, team-focused work environment
