Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee both FOH and BOH operations during each shift and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will work with the management team to manage food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.

You will recruit, train, and develop FOH staff, maintain high service standards, and help optimize profitability while delivering a welcoming, fast-paced dining experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management or 2 years in other food service.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule and travel occasionally for meetings/training.
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Recruit and hire FOH staff; train and develop FOH staff.
• Oversee daily restaurant shift operations and ensure health and safety standards.
• Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
• Monitor and manage labor costs and food quality; maintain cleanliness and organization.
