Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a Shift Leader in Coon Rapids, MN to guide the coffeehouse with the General Manager or Assistant GM. You’ll ensure brand standards, product quality, cleanliness, and guest connections during the shift, while supporting the team and store safety.

The role emphasizes coaching team members, executing SOPs, and driving engagement and excellent guest service on every shift.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Flexible availability to cover different days/times as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates mastery of every Team Member responsibility with confidence and excellence.
• Leads shifts with energy to keep the team engaged and the shift on track.
• Optimizes product sales while managing waste and maintaining a welcoming coffeehouse.
• Knows the day’s deployment and roles, and communicates clearly on the floor.
• Reads team needs, manages priorities, and delegates tasks accordingly.
• Owns the shift, ensures smooth hand-offs to the next team, and upholds SOPs.
