GDLP Restaurant Group is seeking a proactive Shift Leader to manage daily restaurant operations and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will lead shifts, coach team members, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Reliable attendance and availability to support business needs are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicate restaurant needs and maintenance concerns to management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
