Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Shift Leader to support store operations, drive customer service, and coach staff toward meeting performance and profit goals. You’ll help hire, train, and develop team members, enforce food safety, and ensure brand standards in a fast, friendly environment.

You’ll lead by example, delegate tasks, complete daily paperwork, and work varied shifts including weekends. The role requires a high school diploma, supervisory experience, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of store training.
• Previous experience supervising others, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Computer literacy.
• Food service experience preferred, ideally in a managerial role.
• ServSafe certification preferred or successful completion of certification within 2 months of hire.
• Focus on customer service and teamwork.
• Effective communication with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as needed by the business, as well as work the site alone, as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and drive high standards and expectations around food quality, customer service, food safety and store cleanliness by empowering store employees.
• Provide superior customer service to all customers: greeting, assisting, suggest selling and thanking each customer.
• Assist with the hiring, training, and development of store employees.
• Motivate, encourage, and challenge staff by leading by example to ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management.
• Assume responsibility for special assignments and projects as needed.
