Job summary

truenorth Convenience Stores in Ohio is seeking a Shift Manager to support a fast, friendly, and clean shopping environment by delivering guest service and maintaining an organized store. This role assists with daily operations including merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, inventory, and fuel transactions, while addressing guest concerns and upholding True North service standards.

In the absence of the Assistant Manager, the Shift Manager assumes those responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service or cashier experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate POS, store, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Accurately process customer transactions using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Perform assigned food service tasks following food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Assist with merchandising, pricing, loss prevention, inventory, and fuel transactions.
• In the absence of the Assistant Manager, assume those responsibilities.
