Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader in Los Angeles to lead the shift, work beside the team, and ensure every guest leaves impressed. You’ll handle multiple roles, maintain standards, and drive fast, accurate service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in hospitality, a team-first mindset, strong communication, and comfort with POS systems. Growth into higher leadership roles is encouraged in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• A team-first mindset with strong communicationskills.
• Lead by doing, not just directing.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room roles as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members.
• Help train new team members and build a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
