Job summary

Five Guys in Los Angeles is seeking a Shift Leader to run daily operations, lead by example, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. You’ll work side-by-side with the team, stepping into cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles as needed to keep service fast and accurate.

Grow with a fast-paced, high-energy crew while coaching teammates, maintaining brand standards, and training new hires. This role offers leadership experience and a pathway to further opportunities within the brand.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant/retail/hospitality experience, leadership preferred.
• Strong communication and team-first mindset.
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room; no task too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew; support training and culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
