Job summary

Mex 1 Coastal Cantina in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced Hourly Supervisor to lead by example and deliver memorable guest experiences while supporting management with shift operations and training.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee crew flow, delegate tasks, and uphold FOOD, SERVICE & VIBE standards. You’ll train new teammates and help open/close procedures, with opportunities to advance within a growing local restaurant group.

Qualifications

• 3+ to 5+ years of restaurant experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Positive, approachable, and accountable leadership style.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to work alongside the crew.
• Reliability, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift flow, delegate tasks, and set the crew up for success.
• Lead by example in guest service and team communication.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Support opening/closing procedures, shift checklists, cleanliness, and organization.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for the crew during shifts.
• Uphold Mex 1’s standards for FOOD, SERVICE & VIBE.
