Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, guest-focused team and drive store performance. You’ll set a positive tone, coach staff, and ensure smooth operations across food service, stocking, and cash handling.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail/food service and at least 1 year in supervision, with strong communication and team-building skills. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others.
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a cheerful, can-do tone.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time and address guest concerns with empathy.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure inventory, check-ins, and promotions are executed.
• Oversee store processes including write-offs, cash wrap, and safety compliance.
• Model effective communication and accountability across shifts.
