Torchy’s Tacos in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to ensure smooth shifts and a Damn Good guest experience. You will balance hands-on leadership with guiding FOH and BOH teams to uphold food quality and safety.

You may open/close as key holder, delegate tasks, train teammates, and monitor cash handling, inventory, and safety compliance. If you lead with energy and care, this role offers growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, guest service, and restaurant operations.
• Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with a focus on guest experiences and operational excellence.
• Open and close the restaurant as a key holder when needed.
• Delegate tasks to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
• Engage with guests to address concerns with urgency and care.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members to meet standards.
• Maintain FOH/BOH processes, including food safety and cleanliness.
• Support inventory, prep levels, and line checks.
• Supervise cash handling and ensure policy adherence.
• Complete health and safety checklists and ensure compliance.
• Resolve issues promptly and escalate when needed.
