Torchy’s Tacos in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Shift Leader to ensure smooth shifts and deliver a Damn Good guest experience. You’ll balance hands-on leadership with supporting the team across FOH and BOH tasks.

You’ll lead shifts, potentially open/close as a key holder, delegate tasks, and focus on guest satisfaction, training, and adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards. This role offers growth and a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, guest service, and restaurant operations.
• Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus on guest experiences, team dynamics, and operational excellence.
• Open/close the restaurant as key holder and secure the facility.
• Delegate tasks to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
• Engage with guests to address needs and concerns promptly.
• Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring team members.
• Maintain FOH/BOH processes, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Support inventory management, prep levels, and line checks for quality.
• Oversee cash handling with accuracy and policy adherence.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory checklists are completed.
• Resolve guest or team issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
