Job summary

Schlotzsky’s is seeking a Team Leader to assist the management team in shift planning and operations to ensure excellent guest service and achievement of financial targets.

The role covers prep, meat & finish, pizza, soup and salad, bakery, and guest service stations, with a focus on accuracy, speed of service, and sanitation. Leadership responsibilities include coaching staff, enforcing policies, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising kitchen/restaurant staff.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and portions precisely.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead prep stations (Prep, Meat & Finish, Pizza, Soup & Salad, Bakery, Drink, Dining Room, Restroom) ensuring quality, portion control and efficiency.
• Enforce cash handling and guest service procedures at Guest Service Station.
• Monitor station cleanliness and safety; ensure equipment and work areas comply with standards.
• Direct and coach crew to meet speed of service and guest satisfaction goals.
• Address guest issues in collaboration with management, maintaining positive guest relations.
