Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands‑on Shift Manager to lead a winning team and drive store performance on a fast‑paced shift. You will set the tone, train associates, and ensure guest satisfaction while overseeing food service, inventory, and cash handling.

Your leadership and communication skills will help develop future leaders and maintain RaceTrac's safety, cleanliness, and promotional standards.

Qualifications

2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
Comfort in fast‑paced, high‑volume, guest‑focused environments.
Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift and set a cheerful tone.
Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
Coach team members in real time with guidance and support.
Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Train and guide the team to meet guest service and safety standards.
Oversee inventory, vendor check‑in, and promotional communications.
Ensure accurate cash wrap, write‑offs, and documentation.
Model effective shift change communication and accountability.
