Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team and set a positive tone on every shift. You will drive guest satisfaction and help the store run smoothly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include coaching teammates, managing food service, stocking, cash handling, and ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met. Your leadership will empower others and support Store Operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service preferred.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set a cheerful, can-do tone that motivates the team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time to drive results and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Drive Operational Excellence by training staff to meet standards and manage inventory, promotions, and compliance.
• Oversee shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
