RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced, people-first team on a daily shift. You will set the tone, provide clear direction, and coach team members in real time to ensure exceptional guest service and food safety.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cheerful, can-do tone to motivate your team.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support on each shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Manage write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Relay updates from leadership to shift associates and monitor task completion.
