Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team and deliver outstanding guest service. You’ll set the tone, coach staff across food service, stocking, and cash handling, and partner with leadership to drive store performance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift by setting a cheerful, can-do tone and guiding staff.
• Coach team members in real time, provide feedback, and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Drive Operational Excellence by training staff to meet service, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee store processes including inventory, vendor check-in, promotions, write-offs, and compliance.
• Lead shift change communication and keep team aligned throughout the day.
