Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead the store team during busy shifts, set a cheerful tone, and ensure guest satisfaction while supporting food service, stocking, cleaning and cash handling.

You will coach teammates in real time, drive operational excellence, train staff on safety and promotions, manage inventory and cash controls, and help develop future leaders in a fast-paced, people-first environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail/food service (preferred)
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume environments

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Train team on RaceTrac policies, food safety, and cleanliness standards
• Oversee inventory, write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation
• Communicate updates from leadership to shift associates and ensure task completion
