Job summary

Whataburger Frisco is looking for a Shift Leader to drive daily operations, guest service, and team leadership. You will oversee shift execution, coach Team Members, and ensure quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met during busy periods.

You will manage staffing, support cost goals, and uphold service excellence while fostering a positive work culture. This role offers growth opportunities and a path to leadership within the Whataburger family.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours, and dependable attendance.
• Stand up to 10 hours, lift up to 55 lbs, and meet physical demands.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• ServSafe Food Certification (or ability to obtain during training).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Team Members to develop skills and confidence.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, and sales performance.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
