Whataburger is hiring a Shift Leader to keep our restaurant running smoothly and to develop a high-performing team. You will drive quality, service, and cleanliness while coaching new hires and seasoned staff to peak performance.

Based at the home restaurant, you will partner with the Restaurant Manager, manage shifts, and align with company goals for cost, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role emphasizes growth and leadership development within Whataburger.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Team Members to improve performance.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales, and inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and positive culture.
• Prepare and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running smoothly.
