Job summary

Whataburger in Frisco, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to drive operational excellence and lead a high-performing team on a busy shift. You’ll coach Family Members, manage shift operations, uphold safety and quality, and help control costs while maintaining outstanding guest service.

You'll partner with the Restaurant Manager, grow leadership skills, and pursue a clear career path inside Whataburger, with opportunities to advance to operations leadership and six-figure earnings through our partner

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Open availability including overnights/weekends/holidays.
• Able to stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams; strong customer service and communication.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain during training.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Coach, train, and motivate Family Members - helping new hires ketchup quickly and seasoned pros turn up the heat.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running.
