Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee the coffeehouse operation in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. You will ensure brand standards, product knowledge, cleanliness, and guest connections during the shift, while guiding the team and maintaining smooth operations.

You will coach and train Team Members, manage on-shift tasks, and uphold safety, cash handling, and service excellence with a welcoming, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role or properly trained and approved to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Leads shifts with energy and ownership to keep the shift on track.
• Ensures brand standards, guest connections, and store cleanliness are maintained.
• Coaches and trains team members on responsibilities, products, and promotions.
• Performs administrative tasks such as bank deposits, inventory, and product orders.
• Arrives on time for every scheduled shift and supports team success.
