Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor in California to lead daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts. You will uphold brand standards, supervise peers, and help maximize profits while ensuring high-quality food and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of full-service restaurant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Benefits include discounts and growth opportunities within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant during scheduled mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management.
• Act as an ambassador of Company & Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Resolve guest issues and drive to optimize profits while ensuring product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• May work in this role as well as other hourly positions based on restaurant needs.
