Job summary

Zax LLC is hiring for a Shift Leader role at our Kentucky location. You will train and coach team members, ensure service quality, and maintain safety standards to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership, reliability, and strong communication skills, with the ability to manage shifts, delegate tasks, and meet company standards across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week; Full-time: 32 to 40 hours per week.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to your General Manager.
• Prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Lead shift goals and motivate team members to meet targets and perform at their best.
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are upheld.
• Manage deliveries, stock, and daily inventory counts.
• Monitor food production and quality and take corrective action as needed.
• Plan shift duties and ensure opening/closing duties are complete.
