Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Shift Leader to help motivate the team and ensure a great guest experience. You will open and close the store, coach staff, and maintain quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers growth potential within our stores, with many General Managers starting as Shift Leaders and Team Members. A flexible schedule and competitive pay accompany benefits and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set morale and tone; provide feedback and coaching as needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision while ensuring quality and a safe, clean environment.
• Grow your career by taking on more leadership responsibilities; many General Managers started as Shift Leaders and Team Members.
