Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, seeking a Team Lead for the Afternoon or Midnight Shift on site in South Brunswick, NJ. You will supervise a production team to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will coach operators, manage timecards, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, and ensure documentation and compliance with GMP, HACCP and SAP requirements on a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Food or Chemical manufacturing plant.
• Familiar with OSHA requirements.
• Experience in continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety and food safety standards within all production units and lead 6S initiatives.
• Manage production area to meet daily targets and oversee shipping.
• Make and fill batches as per specification, 25% of the time.
• Collaborate with quality to ensure final product meets specifications.
• Lead investigations for deviations and coordinate CAPA with quality.
• Maintain production documents and lead shop floor tier meetings.
• Provide shift reports to production manager addressing volume, safety and quality.
• Coordinate with maintenance and WH to ensure uptime and inventory accuracy.
