Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) seeks a Team Lead for the Afternoon or Midnight Shift on a fully onsite role in South Brunswick, NJ. You will supervise a production team, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive on-time production while coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in food/chemical manufacturing, OSHA familiarity, and experience with continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good change management and time management skills.
• Customer focused with effective problem-solving ability.
• Good teamwork.
• Ability to deliver presentations in a small group setting.
• Read, Collect, and Analyze analytical data from the process-based areas to help make process flow decisions.
• Experience with GMPs, HACCP, inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production shift to meet daily targets and ensure safety standards.
• Oversee shipping operations and maintain production flow.
• Understand processes and prepare/fill batches per specification.
• Collaborate with quality to ensure final product meets specs.
• Maintain production documents per retention policy.
• Lead investigations for deviations and CAPA with QA.
• Comply with food production regulations and internal policies.
• Provide training and support to operators and assist with overtime management.
