Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) seeks a Production Operator for the South Brunswick, NJ area to support manufacturing, packaging and material handling on the second shift (3:30pm-11:50pm, Mon-Fri). The role includes chemical blending, manual dispensing of flavor chemicals, and working with automatically dispensed materials.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, be capable of wearing a respirator, and operate forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to wear respirator.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Ability to handle heavy machinery.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Experience with SAP, Camelot and Marco.
• Prior chemical process manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control machinery to assist with production, packaging and related steps.
• Safely operate forklift and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area adhering to GMP and safety standards.
• Work with team to solve problems and improve processes.
• Perform additional duties and support other departments as needed.
