Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, seeks a Production Operator for the second shift in South Brunswick, NJ. You will control or operate machinery to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along the production line, with occasional heavy equipment handling.

The role requires standing 8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing a respirator when needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Ability to wear respirator
• Ability to operate forklift/ equipment
• Ability to handle heavy machinery
• Stand for 8 hours
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic math, reading and computer skills
• Experience with SAP, Camelot and Marco
• English fluency
• Prior chemical process manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

• Operate/control machinery on production line per shop floor instructions
• Safely operate forklift and material handling equipment
• Maintain safe, clean and sanitary work area adhering to GMP
• Support teamwork to solve problems and improve procedures
• Perform other duties and cross-department tasks as needed
