RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team and deliver guest-first service. You’ll set the tone, coach associates, and partner with store leadership to drive performance and develop future leaders.

You’ll train team members on service standards, safety, and operations while handling shift tasks, inventory, and cash handling. This role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Strong communication and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone with a cheerful attitude and motivate the team.
• Provide direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time and provide guidance on shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Train staff to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, promotions, write-offs, and cash wrap.
• Lead shift-change communication and keep the team aligned.
